    PRODUCT OVERVIEW

    Beef up your ride with Rugged Ridge steering components. This is a bolt-on solution for preventing bent tie rods from wheeling with larger tires. The tubes are 1-1/4 inch ID steel that is cold rolled, pierced, and drawn through dies to produce a 1/4 in. wall thickness. This is true DOM tubing with NO seams OR welds to fail. Heavy duty 7/8 inch rod ends feature standard tapered ends to fit stock knuckle applications. You get one ton strength without any modifications to your steering knuckles. Kit includes damper.

    So my only complaint is the extremely large hex head on the steering dampener on the tie rod end. I would had used my old one but I waned the fresh painted it was larger than 22mm I had a shop install that. Other that not a big deal at all it was extremely easy to install and the performance from the kit is amazing. Extremely responsive kit you can fell the road a lot more when you turn.i doubt I will break this kit when I go to beat it on the off road

    Q: Can this be installed Over The Knuckle? Answer this question

    A: No it can’t. The tie rods are actual tie rod ends “after market of course” but they fit in the knuckle like a factory one. The one on the knuckle on the passenger side is meant to take the drag link rod in 1 way only. No way to run it on top.
