Rugged Ridge HD Front Bumpers

I was looking for a solid front bumper and I purchased the Rugged Ridge XD Stubby and I saw that they had an option of a Bull bar or the X Striker bar. After looking at the X Striker bar I thought it added to the looks. Glad I got it; it really finishes off the front-end of 2015 JK Rubicon.

I bought my jeep last year with the intention of installing a bumper of my choice. First priority it must accept a Hi-lift jack to raise the vehicle. Must accept shackles (most after market bumpers do). An of course, accept a winch without extra plates. This one has everything I needed in a bumper. I had 4WD install the bumper and a real nice Smittybilt Gen3 12k Comp Series Winch with Synthetic Cable. Gave me a great price for install and parts. 4wd had my jeep for 1 day everything installed correctly and cables tucked away nicely. Great service. I did have a one concern. Someone stated that electronic sway bar disconnect would have problem with this bumper. Tried it out works great. Would I have this bumper and winch combo installed again... Yep! The Jeep is a 2021 Unlimited Rubicon. Oh, why did I get that winch when one that would pull 8-9k would work just as well? If I need the extra pulling power... I've got it.

Quick and 3asy to install. The factory 2018 jl fog lights fit perfectly. Should've read the description, reviews first I thought it came with the bars on top

Looks great. Obviously as a bolt-on addition to the bumper, it's not really structural. But it does look good. I just wish they had left a little more clearance between the bull bar and the tow hook on the bumper. It is difficult to get the loop of my kinetic rope over the tow hook. But it's OK for my soft shackle.

When I factory ordered my ‘22 jlur I optioned for the front camera. So I was looking for a stubby bumper that sits the winch down inside and keeps my factory fog light. This fit the bill perfect!! When I got to install the bumper it gave me some trouble, the “bolts” that hold the bumper to the frame are biggest pain in the rear I’ve ever had!! But after 4 or so hrs it finally came together and now I can’t be more happy!

All around solid bumper. It was a bit more difficult to install than i had hoped for, just due to the bolts that connect to the frame not being held in place and sliding back. But it looks good and is extremely sturdy. Contrary to other reviews i have seen THE STOCK FOG LAMPS DO IN FACT FIT IN THIS BUMPER. You have to take the ENTIRE plastic assembly off the back of the fog lamps, but i can confirm 100% that they do fit.
