Rugged Ridge provides the most comprehensive replacement Fender Flare program on the market today. Covering model years starting in 1955 until current, Rugged Ridge has you covered when it is time to replace or upgrade your Factory Fender Flares. Each flare is constructed of virtually indestructible, durable, UV treated thermoplastic to provide years of service. This special UV Treatment prevents the flare from turning that un-sightly gray chalky color. Each replacement flare is designed to fit into your factory mounting holes (some models may require some hole relocation) for ease of installation. *Will NOT fit Sahara models.
I bought these for my 94 YJ based on the description saying "4.75 inches of extra tire coverage". That is definitely not an accurate description. The measured depth of these came to only 4.25 inches total and my stock flares are about 3.75 inches. If you're looking to just get better looking flares, these will be great. If you're looking for more tire coverage, get one of the other sets.

rugged ridge fender flares for jeep
spend the extra 150 and get the bushwackers. One flare was warped, they give you 3 different size screws and don't tell you where they go, the rubber seal that goes around the edge of the flare is almost impossible to put on( I used super glue a drop every inch it took forever) I have installed bushwackers and they are a much better product!

Worked out great for me
I purchased my Jeep used & destroyed the pocket fender flares so I bought these as a replacement. They fit perfectly with the holes that were there for the other set of fender flares (might have to drill for stock, not sure). The only drawback was one bolt on each side had no access to the back so you have to use a little rubber insert which did not come with the flares. Look great though, great price, look awesome on a black jeep!

Quality for the price
The product is excellent for the price. Lengthy install when working to replace the OEM fenders. It is listed as a set of 6 but it is only a set of 4; overall very satisfied with the purchase.

Cut-Out flares, hard to cut out!
These flares look the part, the only downside is the rear flare cut out section is right in the way of factory roll bar locations and rear wheel tub flanges and edges, this would require extensive modifications to actually "cut-out" for a clean look. The fronts would also need modifications to the inner wheel well, less work but stil several hours of fab work to make it clean.

Very rigid, brittle, broke at seam on both front sides after a few months. Jeep never off road and only driven a few thousand miles. Take them off before they damage the paint on your front fenders.

Dont waste your money.
Rugged ridge has some of the best aftermarked parts and accessories for jeeps with the exception of these flat flares.I like my flares flexable but these flares are paper thin and the holes in the liners dont match up with the flares and they obviosly were pulled from the mold too quick. Needless to say the liners went in the dumpster where they belong. If its thin flat flares you need then rugged ridge has them. And the plastic clips dont hold the liners in place either.
