    5.0 Just the part I needed!

    My Husband put a 3 inch lift on the jeep. It had a vibration that the transfer case lowering kit took care of. I bought all the parts from this company and am very happy. I will go here for future parts for this Jeep.

    Q: I am looking for a 1/2" transfer case drop kit for a 1998 Jeep Cherokee XJ.Tried the 1" drop and now have some driveline howl. I have the C/V driveshaft. Answer this question

    A: Hello You never said if it is a CV front or rear shaft. If the CV shaft is in the rear you would want the transfer case all the way up. The drive shaft would be inline with the pinion and make all the angle go through the CV. If it is the front that is the CV shaft then the lowering kit may work. It depends on which style CV shaft you have. The shortest kit I could find is 3/4 inch R/E RE2120. The spacers are very simple to cut down if you have the round style.

    A: Hello control1, Thank you for the question. The Rubicon Express Transfer Case Lowering Kit 3/4" XJ/ZJ R/ERE2120 is a very simple bolt-on application with a few basic hand tools and a floor jack.

    Q: I have a 4" lift on 98 ZJ. 242 T-case, CCV rear drive shaft, 96 Ford Explorer rear axle, 4:56 gears. Some vibration over 65 mph. Might this drop help? Thanks JLHufford jlhufford@att.net Answer this question

    A: Hello JLHufford, I could help, but it really depends on the drive shaft angle. I would suggest having a driveline shop take a look at the angle for you. It could also be the tires. if you haven't had them balanced in a while that can also add to your issue. Wheel weights do tend to fall of after some time or in certain off-road situations. If everything I have mentioned above are good to go I'd suggest installing the Rubicon Express Transfer Case Lowering Kit 3/4" XJ/ZJ R/ERE2120. Thank you for the email.

    A: When you install the Rubicon Express Transfer Case Lowering Kit 1.0" YJ/TJ/LJ you may need to adjust the transfer case linkage to insure proper operation.
