Rubicon Express' Super-Flex kits are a great choice for Jeep JK, TJ, JL, ZJ and XJ vehicles running factory short arm suspension geometry and is the perfect combination of value, street performance and enhanced trail capabilities. Upgrading your rig with a Super-Flex suspension system will turn your rig into a remarkable performance 4x4 machine with a smoother and more flexible ride on and off the trail. Lift heights range from 3.5 to 5.5 inches depending on application.
So far this lift is fantastic. It has very predictable handling on the road and no steering quirks that other lifts may cause. So far I have noticed no under or over steer and very minimal or no deflection when hitting imperfections on the pavement which is great for a daily driver. With the right shocks, I have so much travel, I will now probably need to add limiting straps to avoid over extension of the suspension (This is also due to the King Shocks added at the same time as the lift). So far, I have not noticed any excessive body roll due to the 3.5" Short Arm Lift. If you want the best of both worlds (Daily Drive/Weekend Warrior) this lift kit is it.

Good value, reputable brand
Instead of just replacing the sagging rear leafs on my '00 XJ Cherokee with OEM replacements, decided to just spring for the lift. After doing a lot of research I decided to go with this kit. Rides a bit stiff at first, but seems to be breaking in (only been driving for a month with the lift on). No SYE needed yet. A few minor driveline vibrations, but okay for now. Haven't gotten to flex it much, but I've done some fender trimming to clear my new 32/11.50/r15s, and it looks great!

Awesome Lift Kit
I had 4WP San Jose install this on my new 2012 JKU Rubicon when it still had 100 miles on it, so I don't remember life before this kit.
Anyway, the Jeep has seen Slickrock Trail in Alpine County, Hollister, The Rubicon Trail, Oceano Dunes, and a lot of highway in between (its my daily driver).
I am truly impressed with the amount of flex this kit provides. I bought this kit becasue I just didn't have long-arm kit money. I do like the fact there is actually an upgrade kit available for the day I choose to make that jump.
The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is becasue that rating will likely be reserved for the long arm kit.

This product is very good an very durable, but was disappointed because the rear shocks did not come with the upper mounting pins and the U bolts were the wrong size, had to go buy another set for each side at the parts house.

Good lift kit
Good instructions, good price. Plan to buy the slip yoke eliminator and CV style drive shaft to prevent vibration. I still have a bit of vibration so if I was to do it again I would upgrade and get the adjustable upper control arms.

stiff stiff stiff
this lift is okay for looks, 4.5in is more like 5in, looks really great with 33's.... the ride on the other hand is extremely stiff, I recommend different shocks it will ride much nicer, the fact that it dose not include a transfer case drop is non satisfactory, I had to purchase many other items just to make it drivable, but you have to pay to play.. overall I am very happy with this lift

Great lift easy to install
This is a great lift for the price. A lot of people complain about it not including upper control arms or a adjustable track bar but you can purchase these items separate and if they added them it would cost a couple hundred more. I would suggest buying the adjustable track arm though cuz drilling the hole for the track arm in the perfect place is a little hard. The lift rides better than my stock but it was pretty shot. It's a little stiff but I'm sure that will change. Another thing you need to consider is a sye kit. These run about 500 but you might have to have one. I got away with some transfer case drop spacers but this is only a temperary fix. I will be purchasing a sye kit ASAP. All in all I am very pleased with its looks and performance. It raised mine a little over 4 inches. Install wasnt to bad but I do have some mechanical experience. The hardest part was the coils and rusted bolts make sure to spray them down with a good penetrating lube and be prepared to cut some off. Mainly the rear spring bolts.

Smooth compared to friends RC lift
This lift is one of the best out their for the price flexes well when swaybar is disconnected, cough cough I believe 4 wheel parts know owns RE, but thats alright with me qaulity is still great I just need a long arm now.
Tc drop and or Sye/H-n-tap may be required.
I recommend Acos or a 1 in coil spacer up front for most installs due to leaf pack netting 5in versus 4.25 on the front coils. This is not just in my case but this occures for most Xj's.

Great lift with great flex and ride
This is on my daily driver. I run it with the bilstein 5100's. I commute 750 miles a week and the ride is great! Ran it offroad on some 3 diamonds and it performed better than I expected. Super flex accurately describes. Came out with roughly 4" of lift on 3.5" springs even with the winch. I also have a 1" body lift and it will still stuff a 33 to the fender!
I live in high-rise condo with parking garage whats the height of jeep with the lift. The parking garage sign says 6ft 3in clearance will it clear
ghosryder from on
That will all depend upon the tire brand and size you plan on installing. This kit will add 4.5" of additional height to the stock heights height. Thank you for the question.
2011 rubicon...Why is it "highly recommended" to chang out the drive shafts? what problems will I have if I don't?
Justin from Green Bay, WI on
We have run stock shafts on 5 inch kit's and have not had any problems. In the JK's first came out nobody thought the shafts would hold up to lifts. If you look at a lot of the new axles they are coming with stock flanges to run the stock shafts. We have 4 JK's here with Rubicon Express lifts and ProComp all running Core44's with stock shafts no problems.

I have a 2015 JKU will I need to modify the exhaust. If so do you have the part I would need.
daddychas from Clark, NJ 07066 on
Yes, you will either need the exhaust spacer kit (mostly on road driving) or upgrade the drive shafts (moderate to hard off-road 4 wheeling). All 2012 and newer Jeep JK Wranglers will require one or the other options. Thank you.
