Bolt on shock mount relocaters install into factory rear shock mount locations to restore proper shock positioning. Moving the shock away from spring pads and the axle tube allows for axle rotation on lifted Jeeps.
After lifting my 2003 Rubi and adjusting the pinion angle. My rear shocks started hitting the lower brackets that hold the coil springs in place. This was a simple solution that pushed the rear shocks out a couple inches. Installation is simple and doesn't require drilling any new holes.
These are necessary if you get off into the rocks. Look under the rear of your TJ and see what the lowest points are. Bingo-the lower shock mounts.
Look under your TJ. The rear lower shock mounts will not last in the rocks if you are aggressive. These brackets are very necessary. And practical. They also line the shock back up, increasing overall strength.
They are great mounts. The only reason I knocked off a star is the description says the put the shock back further, they do not. They put the shock in the same exact position bas the stick mounts.
Used these to adjust the position of the lower shock mount on our ‘03 TJ, after replacing the shocks and having to use the upper mount replicators due to broken mounting studs.

Q: how much length will they add Answer this question
A: Lucy- Thank you for your question. The Rubicon Express Shock Relocation Bracket Bolt-On Rear YJ/Pair does not add length to the shock. It mounts in the axle end of the shock mount to push the shock away from the axle tube to allow for axle rotation to align the pinion angle for a CV drive shaft.
