Rubicon Express Shock Extensions are a must have when running a CV driveshaft for shock body clearance on your vehicle.
My Bronco has dual shock mounts on the front that came from the factory. I wanted to replace the shocks with Bilsteins. The ones that were valved right were either too long for the rear mount of the front, or too short for the front mount on the front. So I used these shock extenders on the front mount, spot welded them for security, and installed the shock. Works great! I bought the Bilstein 24-065283 shocks. The Bronco is Stock with new front coil springs from Skyjacker. For the rear shocks I bought Bilstein 33-185606.
Q: I've got a 2012 2 Door Rubicon with 1.75 spacers on the front with an otherwise stock suspension. Would these extensions be ok run and what would the pros and cons of them. Answer this question
A: Hello Baldone, Yes, they will fit your vehicle application. We highly suggest just upgrading to a longer shock. This will give you the best ride quality. Thank you.
