We make these shims from solid steel for maximum durability. Designed to handle the rigors of trail use, these shims actually become part of the spring pack. Many other shims on the market float between the spring pack and the spring perch reducing the engagement of the center pin. Our design will not come loose or fall out. Can be used front or rear to set pinion angles. 2.5 inch wide springs only.
Perfect machined fit and heavy duty material. High quality and has a recess for the nut on one side.
The people at 4 Wheel parts are always very helpful and got me set up with just what i needed. These degree shims are made well and will last.
The par fit perfect as described in the description on your website.
These fit perfect. Paid a guy to put my lift kit on and needless to say we had to do these shims ourselves. Only issue was hole in the middle was too small. We drilled it out and put them on.
Worked as advertised, used to line up my driveline with a new SYE.
Cant complain at all, fit exactly how it should and good quality product
I had 2.5 degrees these 4 degree shims did the trick no more vibration
Got the jeep back and running momentarily till I can afford to weld the perches, shims are solid
Q: What do these shims do? I have a sagging leaf spring on a 2000 Jeep Cherokee XJ. It's currently lifted about 3-1/2", but sags a little at the right rear. Can these shims help or should I get new leafs? Thanks! Answer this question
A: New leafs these are to correct driveline angles, won’t do anything for sagging springs
Answered by John B from Glen Burnie MD on 12/02/2020
A: New leaf springs. Shims only change caster angle.
Answered by Justalong on 11/30/2020
A: The RE1467 is a degree shim to help correct pinion angle. It is not designed for lifting vehicle. It is recommended to replace leaf springs.

Q: The holes in these are too large bolt them to the spring pack. The center pin must just stick through it. However, that doesn’t allow a comfortable amount of purchase for it he pin down into the axle. Any thoughts about that? Answer this question
A: Maybe you can yourself some larger or longer pins/bolts or remove a leaf if you cannot get a direct replacement. What type of vehicle?

Q: What is the height of the shim. The reason I ask is that I purchased a steel 8 degree shim from a fabricator in California but it was the same size as a 6 degree aluminum shim from Omix-Ada. That wouldn't work on my Jeep. I need a true 8 degree or at least the same size as the Aluminum Omix Ada 8 degree. Answer this question
A: Hello They don't give us the dimensions of their shims. I know for a fact if they say they are 6 or 8 degree's they are. I have included Rubicon's phone number so you can get the spec's you need. (916) 858-8575

A: Mike- Thank for the question. The 2.5 degree shims can make a difference but i would replace / check your U joints and checked front tire balance and transmission mount before we changed the shims.
