Exhaust spacers are needed for all 2012 and up Jeep JKs using suspension kits with 3" or more of lift. The spacers are installed between the driver and passenger head pipe flanges and the flanges of the exhaust cross pipe which moves the exhaust cross pipe rearward. This prevents contact between the front driveshaft and the exhaust cross pipe during suspension down travel.
If your Jeep isn't brand new, chances are your stock bolts will need to be cut out. So just be prepared because you will need 4 nuts and the passenger side the bolts aren't long enough to use washers. and you may need another exhaust clamp.
but they do fit well and give drive shaft clearence.
I have a '15 JKUR Hard Rock and will be installing the 3.5in Rock Krawler X Factor mid-arm lift and 35s, Smittybuilt 12k pound winch, and hi-lift jack mounted on the hood. The bumpers on the HR are of course the steel. Will the weight of the bumper and winch still necessitate the spacer kit for the exhaust?

Hello Mr vegas, the Rubicon Express Exhaust Spacer Kit part# R/ERE4532 will still be required if you plan to wheel the jeep. Everyday driving the driveshaft will be fine but when you get offroad and use the suspension the contact each other. Thank you for your inquiry.

Will I need to install exhaust spacers on my 2013 jku with the 2.5 rubicon express leveling kit? I will still be running stock bumpers as well.

Thank you for the question. Yes, the Rubicon Express Exhaust Spacer Kit Part Number: R/ERE4532 is required on all 2012 and newer Jeep JK Wranglers when lifting higher then 3/4" over the factory height.
Hello, today I received a message in response to my question regarding your 2.5" standard lift w/monotube shocks #R/ERE 7141M, and your tech, initials RK stated I would need the exhaust spacer kit, as I have a 2012 JKU 4dr, or change front driveshaft. Yet when I read your specs on this exhaust spacer kit, it states for lifts 3" or more. Please advise. My 2012 is a daily driver with some medium off-road use, hunting trips, exploring, but not the extreme rock crawling actity. I will be installing Warn off-road bumpers, frt. and rear, and Warn XD9000 new winch. I don't really want to change the handling dynamics of my Jeep, just improve ground clearance, and capabilities somewhat, and get around better off road. Maybe that lift is more than I need, but with the added weight on existing stock suspension, I think would lower it more than stock. Please advise, and explain this exhaust spacer install, if I really need it. Thanks for your assistance!

Thanks for asking. With a 2.5" lift and the added weight of the bumpers and winch you should be fine without the Rubicon Express Exhaust Spacers.
