Rubicon brake lines are as good as they get. We build them to last. Features strong woven stainless steel outer shell that protects the rubber and Kevlar casing housing that encases the Teflon inner hose. Mounting brackets included where necessary. So don't neglect your brakes. Always properly bleed system after installation and verify that brake lines do not contact tires, moving suspension components, and that length is sufficient for full travel. Built to DOT specifications.
Great product took some alterations to get them to fit to my tj wrangler but they look and work great
Make sure they will clear you suspension and tire sidewalls when you turn lock to lock
Tried ordering brake hoses from several other companies. All on backorder, ordered them here got them in three days.
The braided lines are nice. Easy to clean. Now I have more flex without worries.
Great upgrade for your TJ. I upgraded after seeing a small crack in my line after this summer. Looks like after 10 seasons of winter has taken its toll on the old rubber replacements (magcloride). Easy to install no fit issues. Just make sure you follow the same loop pattern that the stocker's did, this will keep it out of the springs. Keep on Jeep.....olllllo
Bought these to replace Crown Manufacturing brake hoses that have a colored protective outer sleeve that was cracked and frayed. (Crown by the way indicated it was cosmetic only and doesn’t jeopardize the hose). The end that attaches to the caliper is not round like the OEM and Crown hose that prevents Installing incorrectly. These Rubicon Express hoses have a rectangular fitting. This allowed the hose to attach to the caliper in a choice of two directions. Have yet to take the rig off-road to see how they hold up. By the way, the Crown logo is on these Rubicon Express hoses so they must be manufactured by them for Rubicon Express…made in the USA.
