Forged Johnny Joint rod ends feature forged steel construction, a 1-1/4"-12 right hand threaded shank and come fully assembled with our standard Johnny Joint internals (2.625" wide ball center with a 9/16" thru bolt hole). These units are externally greasable via a zerk fitting. Units will also accept our 9/16" greasable thru bolts as well (available seperately). Finished in gold zinc plating. We also keep the jam nuts for these units on hand at all times as well. These can be used in any RockJock adjustable lower control arm, as well as in any type of universal application for those building their own arms.
Great joints to replace the crappy rough country x-flex joints. Make sure you get the ones for the correct bolt diameter.
Replaced my old worn-out stock heim joints (ball joints) that came with my 4" long-arm suspension. Replacement was easy. No more clanking from the suspension joints. Added bonus is it is easy to rebuild the joints (you don't have to replace entire joint), increased articulation, and joints and bolts have zerk fittings so you can add grease when needed.
Bought these to replace roughcountry flex joints. Currie makes some of the best flex joints out there and they worked perfect for my application
I will be useing the JJ as the flex joint on the long arm four link that I building for my TJ. These things are beefy! Can't wait to try them on the trail.
Great replacement for junk heims on lift kits
Q: Will this got on the rough country 4.5 long arm kit? Answer this question
A: These fit my Rough Country long arm kit for my 2005 LJ. But it also depends on your actual set up and alignment, because the threaded section on the Rock Jock Johny Joints is much shorter than the Rough Country flex joints. Good practice is to have >1.5x the diameter of the threaded section screwed into the long arm. So you'll need >1.875" of the threads screwed in for large felx joints. CE-9114 - Large flex joints ~3.25" threaded section CE-9112SP - Small flex joint ~3.25" threaded section
