Protect your critical driveline components with a high grade ductile iron Riddler Differential Cover. The cover is CNC machined with a lip free transition design so that you don't get hung up and includes stainless fasteners, permatex sealant and a lifetime guarantee.
At first, I was leery about spending so much cash on a diff cover. Once I received this part, it no longer mattered.
This cover is ARMOR for the front pumpkin. The piece is incredibly thick and heavy. The mating surface to the axle housing is perfectly machined, and there wasn't a single burr or imperfection in its surfacing or mounting.
So far, I've rubbed this cover over some fallen timber, and smacked it once into a rock outcropping. It won't even chip. With the elevated and recessed oil-fill plug hole, I don't even think about my pumpkin as a weak spot anymore.

Tough & Unique
Bought diff covers for both the front 44 and rear 60. Both are heavy duty, they came ready to paint with all needed hardware. I can't wait to get them off road and put them to the test I have no doubts they will take a beating and protect lockers and gears.

Clean and Solid
Installed with lube locker gasket and painted it black. Gives it a clean look and Riddler makes this this cover to last. Cheaper and stronger than most other covers. Only gave it 4 stars because it should be powder coated.

This diff cover is awesome, especially when painted. It is well worth every penny. You will see why as soon as you hold it in your hands.

Beefy cover. Comes as a raw casting so it will need to be painted to prevent rusting.

This cover looks good, was easy to paint for my own customization. Nice thick cover.

Very Heavy Duty
Shipping took a while. The diff cover is coated in rust. Now I have to get some rust remover or sand the heck out of it just to paint it. One corner not machined completely flat but silicone should seal it. Cover is VERY HEAVY DUTY. I doubt anything on the trail will do anything but scratch it. Would have got 5/5 but slow shipping and a coat of rust cost 2 points.
Will this fit on the Aluminum D44 Rear

Jason, unfortunately we don't offer a diff cover for the 96zj Jeep. Thank you for our question.

I have a 86 cj7 with the thicker tie rod 1.25. Will I have an issue with clearance on the Dana 30?
ray from abq on
It sticks out just the added thickness of the cover which is 1/4 inch more. Turn your wheels all the way left and right and check your clearance now. If you have more than 3/8 of an inch you will be ok.

Will this Dana 30 diff cover fit a stock front trackbar set up on my 2006 LJ without clearance issues?
Gyramax from Virginia on
Thanks for asking. I have not seen any clearance issues with the Riddler Cast Iron Dana 30 Differential Cover on stock height 2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.
