Q: If I am just putting a 3" leveling kit on my 1999 F250SD would this pitman arm be the right fit?? I notice it says for 4-6" lifts...and, more importantly I guess, do I even need a new pitman arm for this amount of lift?? Thanks in advance for any advice on this. Answer this question
A: Hello Hambone I recommend staying with the stock pitman arm. The dropped pitman arms are for 4-6 inch lifts and would over correct. You will have more angle on your steering draglink with the lift kit. The steering will function correctly. Thank You for your question. Jon Snyder 4Wheelparts
