Drop Pitman arms are designed to correct steering geometry tat has been altered after a lift as been installed on your vehicle. The drop pitman arm brings the geometry back in line for a nicer, safer driving vehicle.
If I am just putting a 3" leveling kit on my 1999 F250SD would this pitman arm be the right fit?? I notice it says for 4-6" lifts...and, more importantly I guess, do I even need a new pitman arm for this amount of lift?? Thanks in advance for any advice on this.

I recommend staying with the stock pitman arm. The dropped pitman arms are for 4-6 inch lifts and would over correct. You will have more angle on your steering draglink with the lift kit. The steering will function correctly. Thank You for your question.
