The Combo Brief Top is 2 tops in one, you get both a full brief top and a half brief top. It has a heavy-duty zipper mechanism allows for quick and easy conversion from half to full brief top. Top includes a special two sided pocket that seals shut with a reinforced zipper to provide extra storage. Top includes a roll cage mounted storage bag for the rear portion of the brief top. The mesh version is made of durable UV treated mesh fabric specially designed to block the heat while letting the cool breeze flow through.
I bought this to help keep the sun off of me while enjoying long mountain drives with fresh air and amazing views. When I opened the box, I was really impressed with how strong the stitching was and how great the quality of the mesh is! Then I found the so-called instructions and knew I was in for an entertaining afternoon. After trying several strap techniques and watching the very few YouTube videos on installing this thing, it's still not quite right. The front half went on like a dream with the no-drill window channel we bought, but the back straps randomly let go. I'm still waiting to flag down another Jeep owner on the road to help me figure this out, but I haven't seen anyone around here with a top like this. I get alot of compliments on the top, it looks nice, and it really does help keep the temperature down, but just be prepared for lots of roadside stops to re-attach the back pieces until you figure out how to make it stay put.

Missing straps Confusing directions
I ordered this top for my 2001 TJ. I only use my TJ for the Rubicon Trail. It is not my daily driver. When the top came and I read the directions, it said to fasten the velcro straps to the roll bar. The problem? There were no Velcro straps, period! The directions online and in the pamphlet that came with it were confusing and useless. There is a middle strap that is supposed to go around the roll cage, but mine was sewn on backwards so it won't fasten. Returning will be more of a hassle. So I basically rigged it and hope it doesn't blow off on the highway on the way to Tahoe.
This was a cheap top-now I know why. You get what you pay for.

Great top, gives a little shade without blocking breeze. Also cuts wind down a little when driving

Doesn't work with Sound Bar
Straps are not placed correctly for use on a Jeep with the Sound Bar speaker enclosures on the top roll bar. Nice concept, too bad the design was not better thought out to include all options available on Jeep Models within the years specified. Especially the Sound Bar option which is very popular and present on all trim levels! A call to Rampage Tech Support for tips on possibly getting it to work on my 2004 Jeep TJ went unanswered. I returned it to 4 Wheel Parts where the helpful folks gladly refunded my money.
