The new Pro Comp Pro Runner Control Arms deliver amazing performance and increased durability for lifted, leveled or stock trucks. The factory upper control arms have weak ball joints and stamped steel construction that is not designed to handle off road use. Pro Comp has engineered the new Pro RunnerTM Control Arms utilizing oversized stainless steel FK uniball joints. The big uniball joints provide unparalleled strength over factory ball joints. Heavy duty 1 inch chromoly tubular construction and reinforced pivot bushing mounts are used to eliminate flex and handle the added load from extreme suspension cycling. Large PTMEG pivot bushings are equipped with zerk fittings for easy maintenance and quiet operation. Each arm is finished in a durable black powder coat finish for years of lasting performance, and includes a billet machined dust cap to keep dirt and debris out of the uniball.
These parts fit as expected and honestly look great and were a great upgrade to my 4x4 truck. The only reason these control arms are getting 4 not 5 stars are the dust caps. These caps are a press fit and once the arms are installed on the truck they are very difficult to get installed so they will stay in place. To be honest, both dust caps have now come off and are lost. I can purchase replacements from Pro Comp but they are $39.99 each! I have access to a lathe so I will just make a replacement set out of black nylon. Pro Comp needs to rethink the way these caps are installed or come up with some suggested method of installation other than just using a dead blow hammer.
Had to replace after 10,000 miles. Would not recommend Pro Comp products to anyone. Couldn't get warranty either.
Shipped fast, nicely packaged i dont feel as if you can go wrong with this brand.
Purchased 5/20/2020, in-store. Had the part installed 5/21-5/22. One of the tapered pins got chewed up during installation, Pro Comp said it wasn't covered under warranty. While waiting for the parts kit with those replacement parts, I drove it with one of the control arms installed. Now, 6/8/2020, I took my truck back in and that control arm that was installed completely failed and fell apart and pushed though the billet dust cap. I will be returning this set to the store, and I will never trust ANY pro comp parts on my truck again.
Holes for the zerks had no threads. Just makes for a big headache to get the job done when the parts have poor quality control
After 1000 miles the uniball broke causing an accident. Bought parts online. Tried to get a refund for just the control arms. Management would not refund my money.
Q: I installed a 3 inch front leveling kit and 1.5 inch wheel spacers in my 2018 zr2 colorado, and the travel of the suspension feels stiff. Will this upper control arm solve that problem or I need to add something else. It has the stock zr2 shocks. Answer this question
A: With vehicle stationary, take a look at the upper control arm at the ball joint. See if the ball joint is at or near its maximum angle. If so, then the feeling you are getting is ball joint bind. The 51005B will correct ball joint bind.

Q: Some UCA manufactures specifically state if their UCAs will help correct alignment issues if you have a 3" lift or more. I have a 2006 Toyota Tacoma with a 3" lift, I'm curious if this will help my alignment issue or if I should just buy the TC UCAs. Thanks Answer this question
A: Hello Gunrunner, That is correct. This will help correct alignment with wheels that are lifted from 1" to 3.5" over stock height. Thank you.
