The transfer case is lowered to bring driveline angles back on lifted applications to within tolerances, thus eliminating driveline vibrations.
I selected this kit because I had raised my 93 YJ with a Trailmaster lift kit. This tossed the drive line out of wack and thus I used this along with 4degree shims to the the angle back in line. The parts are of good quality and fit really snugly with my skid plate. I was able to install mostly solo with a little help from y 14yr old son. Those wondering 55 foot pounds for the bolts.

Q: I have a 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sport, 4.0 with a 2" lift, that had 1 1/2" rectangle tube lowering spacer that has rusted out and needs replaced. Are these spacers the same height? I'd rather install this lowering kit than install another rectangle tube if they are the same height. Answer this question
A: David- Thank you for your question. The Pro Comp Suspension Transfer Case Lowering Kit will drop you t case 1 inch. You should be able to replace the tube with these spacers.
