The ES2000 steering stabilizer is specifically engineered to improve handling characteristics and to reduce wheel vibration, which leads to suspension component fatigue and failure. Helps reduce bump steer problems caused by oversized tires and/or rough roads.
My 2013 RAM 2500 pulled to the right every time I hit a bump when I got the Pro Comp 6" lift with ES9000's. Once I added the Pro Runner dual steering stabilizer shock set installed it made a world of difference. My truck rides as smooth as a Cadillac. You won't regret getting this set. It rides great off road and in deep water as well.

what a huge difference on my 2013 F-250 on 10' lift and 38' toyo tires, this made my truck run really smooth, great product, and very happy

Awkward, but works.
To get brackets snug, various plate washer shims are required (shims included in packaging). I had to disassemble a few times to get the shim thickness correct. Steering has improved.

This is a great kit for the 2011-12 GM 2500HD. It installed pretty easy. The inctructions were a bit confusing but after reading it over for a third time it made sense.

Great stabilizer kit!
Great stabilizer, strong brackets but could use grade 8 hardware. Awesome product and an awesome price!!

ES 2000 Stabilizer
This is a good stabilizer and does its job. I was able to notice instantly better control over steering in bumpy conditions. It also keeps the truck from wondering so much with bigger tires. The instructions were, well there wasn't any. The stabilizer came with some hardware, but had to modify it to get it mounted.

Not too bad for a first-time buyer...
As my review titles suggests, I am a first-time buyer of a Steering Stabilizer for my rig - 1999 Ford F150 XL Ext. Cab, 2WD.
I chose Pro-Comp because of their report amongst other individuals I've spoken to, both on Forums as well as in person; not to mention their attractive styling, logo, and color - but don't get me wrong, I researched their functionality and dependability heavily.
The clarity of instruction, ease of installation, and having all the required hardware ranked very highly with me. As for the functionality of the product, that is pending...
The only 'Con' I have to say is that when I received the product, the ES2000 Stabilizer Shock body was painted white with no "Pro-Comp" logo/graphic. I will definitely be looking for a "Pro-Comp" sticker to place on the shock.

good product, install was pretty easy, just had to cut the bushings down to make it fit on my f150. but in the end it does its job well!

Great Performance Improvement
This fairly simple install did not take long and added noticable handling improvement. It did require some minor grinding to remove an unused bracket from the axle to install it in the proper location. It also looks great from the front of the truck.

I have a 2000 ford excursion with a 8 inch bds lift. Will this dual stabilizer fit & work properly??
ben from on
Yes, this will fit your vehicle application. Thank you.
I'm looking to install the dual stabilizers to help with my front wobble. 2009, F250, 4WD. Truck is at stock height.
Can you tell me the difference between the 222582 and the 222582Z?
Is there a quality difference?
Beetle from Newnan, GA on
The EXP222582 comes with a basic ES2000 series stabilizer (Oil Filled) and the EXP222582Z comes with the Pro Runner series stabilizers (Gas Charged). I'd suggest going with the EXP222582Z. Thank you.

I have a 2012 F350 and have had severe death wobble. The tires have 66,000 miles on them and Ford is blaming it on that. I am pulling over frequently when the wobble shakes my truck vigorously. It is embarrassing. A $55,000 truck and I am pulling over with shame.
My Question: Do you have a dual stabilizer kit that can be mounted on my truck WITHOUT a LIFT. I am looking to purchase 305 tires, but want to get this wobble under control
sladie from Massachusetts on
The Pro Comp Suspension Pro Runner Dual Steering Stabilizer Kit EXP222582Z will fit your vehicle application. However, the dealership maybe correct about the tires being out of round and may have belts that are starting to fray. This is common with high mileage tires. We see it often more than not. Thank you.
