The Pro Runner Monotube shocks deliver the most “bang for your buck” when combined with the new Pro Runner Control Arms. At the heart of the shock is the gas-charged monotube design that delivers superior performance compared to traditional twin tube shocks. The brushed and zinc-plated, clear coated monotube body is nitrogen gas pressurized to eliminate performance-robbing cavitation during compression and rebound. This allows the shock to dissipate heat more efficiently. The Vehicle Specific Ride Tuning (VSRT) in each shock was derived using extensive dyno and real world testing. The result is multi-stage valving to optimize the ride and handling characteristics for each application. Whether you are towing a trailer or hitting woops in the desert, you can count on Pro Comp Pro Runner monotubes to give you the confidence behind the wheel.
Purchased these at my local store on FM1960 in Houston to replace the shocks provided with a suspension lift. The ride is so much better. These are supposed to be made by the same company who manufactures the Bilstein 5100 series shock. Great deal on a great shock. Couldn't be happier with the ride now that these are on the truck.

Smoother ride and lower price
I have a jk with a skyjacker 2.5 lift kit and added a 3 in spacer in the front to level it out so the shocks were all extended making my ride very hard, i got the procomps pre run for 4-6 inch lift now i have more play and smoother ride.

Great for Road and Trails
2005 Ram 1500 4x4. Replaced my wearing-out factory shocks with these. Ride is a little sharper on the road but not enough to be an annoyance. I went on the same Colorado trail with these new shocks that I did with the old ones two years ago. What an amazing difference! The factory shocks bounced us around like a bounce house. The Pro comps took everything in stride--it absorbed bumps large and small without the bounce. I would recommend these to those that will actually use them now and then off-road. Sorry to hear the previous reviewer had issues wiht them. Ride comfort is a very subjective thing.

Put my shocks on 2006 crew cab silverado Z71 with 6" lift. Fit good. Had to pulled bottom bracket apart to get rubber boot in

Resolved nosedive problem
My 2012 Wrangler Sport was diving badly after only 30K miles. These shocks completely resolved the issue and made bumps and corners much more stable. Covered over 500 off-road miles immediately after install, including very rough trails and large obstacles - performance was great.
Unfortunately, rubber booties grew holes right away... issue.

Awesome product at an awesome price.
Adding the Pro-comp Prorunners to my newly rebuilt front end makes it feel like I'm driving a brand new truck, and they look awesome too! No Regrets!

Great Rear Shocks
I upgraded from the Pro Comp ES9000s and it is a NIGHT and DAY difference! I was glad the shop I went to was able to suggest this shock, or else I would have spent twice as much for the same effect in the other options I was considering. My truck feels so smooth over speed bumps and potholes, I hardly even notice them. I'm sure these will handle nicely offroad as well. This is a must for lifted or stock applications as a first mod to upgrade your ride. Plus the zinc plated coating looks so dang good! If you are going to buy shocks; this midprice model is the one you will want!

Good To Go!
At 65K miles I wanted a solid leveling solution for my truck so I opted for the leveling strut. Problem was I ended up wanted the back lifted up a bit too. So I bought add-a-leaf springs and matched the front and rear shocks. Great feel off-road. I don't do any hard-core off-roading just ranch roads and caliche. Its like having a new truck after the install, no more worrying about bottoming out on dips and more control on the dirt. I have steel bumpers on both ends of the truck which I had noticed them weighing down the truck a bit and making it sag. Only hiccup I had was there was a recall on these shocks but Pro Comp notified me and I just had to drive over to my local 4Wheel parts and they replaced them for no cost. Great customer service and great product. Never lifted a truck before or even bought new shocks for my truck but they gave me the advice I needed and helped me out. I got a great looking truck now, and it rides just as good.

STIFF...but good for towing.
My truck is my daily driver and my play vehicle. It gets used for a lot of towing of my boat and toy hauler. Also, use my truck to hit jeep trails off in the Rockies and Cascades. With the stock (Z71) shocks it did all well and rock crawled like a champ. After changing to the Pro Comps the towing and looks got better, but the ride quality is a quite stiff for my taste and is VERY STIFF when off road hitting jeep trails. Due to my recent 4x4'ing in the Rockies I am thinking of switching, but the ride guarantee is kind of hard to deal with after reading it just now...

I ordered these online for my 2007 Tundra and was surprised when they called me the next day to pick them up at the local store (free shipping that way). They were easy to install, look great and ride like I had hoped. The guys at the local store were top notch as well...helped me with any questions I had and gave some great suggestions. This is my first time with Pro Comp shocks but so far I think they are worth every penny.

This shock is a 2.0 diameter. Pro Comp does not offer a rear Pro Runner shock that fits your application at this time. They do offer the ES9000 Part Number: EXP929504, MX-6 Part Number: EXPMX6009 and MX-6R Part Number: EXPMX6068R for your vehicle. Thank you for the question.
