These drop pitman arms from Pro Comp are designed to correct steering geometry when lifting vehicles.
The arm fit exact and well. Heavy and solid. The coating is great too.
Q: 1987 chevy k30 on a 6" lift with 35's tires, will this be the correct product? And will it be strong enough to handle that kind of load? Answer this question
A: Hello Scab, the Pro Comp Suspension Pitman Arm part# expdc500 is not the correct part for your vehicle. With a 6" lift you need a Expgm400 steering arm to correct your steering issues. Thank you for your inquiry.

Q: I have an 1983 chevy pickup that I am building crossover steering for will this pitman arm work? or do u know of one that will? Answer this question
A: HI Brandon I am assuming that you are converting to a 2WD steering gear box? if you are converting you will want to use the SkyJacker SKYFA300 http://jo.my/sm77y2 pitman arm with a 4" drop and a SkyJacker SKYFA6+00 http://jo.my/r604y9 for a 6" drop arm. There is no arm that i am aware of that will allow you to retain the factory 4x4 box Thank You
