A: Hi TRog The EXP65205K will raise the front of a 2006 t0 2015 Tacoma 4X4 or Prerunner model 3 inches and the rear 1 inch. This will give you most of the clearance you will need to put on a LT285/75R17 inch tire. I am recommending a 17 inch rim to clear the large factory calipers that the newer Tacomas have. Almost all after market 16 inch rims will not clear the calipers. The stock 16 inch wheels are too far backspaced to allow a 285 width tire to fit because the tire will rub on the upper a arm. If you install G/293-83-125T wheel spacers on the front with the factory 16 inch wheels then you could kit the LT285/75R16 tire with some trimming of the front inner wheel well. The 17 inch set up would include and after market rim such as a Pro Comp Extreme Alloy in a 17x8 or a 17x8.5 with PXA21138 ET style lug nuts and the 17 inch tire with trimming of the inner wheel well up front. The differential drop eliminates harsh CV axle angles that can damage the CV axle shafts. Anytime you lift a vehicle, you will lose a bit of the soft factory ride quality.
