Pro Comp Nitro Kits are the economical alternative to a complete suspension system. The Nitro Kits utilize coil spring spacers, torsion keys, and strut spacers to achieve front lift. This leaves the factory steering geometry intact, preserving factory ride quality and handling. The rear lift is achieved through coil spring spacers, leaf spring shackles or lift blocks. If you want to add larger aftermarket wheels and tires to your rig without installing a complete suspension lift kit, Pro Comps Nitro Kits were designed with you specifically in mind.

I have a 2013 4x4 4 door Tacoma TRD Sport currently with 17 inch TRD Sport stock wheels. After installing the Nitro 3" lift kit will I be able to use 285/70R17 tires without rubbing? I want to keep the same 17" rims. Also would 285/75R17 tires fit or would these be too large? Thank you.
Willikens from Charlotte, NC on
Yes, you can run a 285/70R17 tire. With the factory wheel you may be required to trim some of the inner wheel wells to clear. Pro Comp Suspension recommends an aftermarket wheel with a 4" to 5" backspace. If you do not want to trim you will need to run a 275/70R17 tire size. Thank you for the question.
