Sold individually.
I installed Pro Comp MX6 shocks on my 2004 F250 Super Duty and loved them. I had 70,000 miles on the shocks, when I sold the truck and they still worked like brand new. Great Ride even on wash board gravel roads and a very smooth ride on the highway. Also a very long service life. When I pruchased my 2008 F350 FORD Super Duty I wanted to install the same shocks, but Pro Comp didn't make them for an unlifted truck in 2008. So I was swayed over to Rancho 9000's and they turned out to be the worst suspension shock purchase of my life. Terrible Ride. The adjustable valve stopped working after 25,000 miles. Shock bodies were covered in rust after 15,000. I now have Pro Comp MX6's on my 2008 FORD and they perform like I remember...Awesomely!(Is That A Word?) Pro Comp - YES / Rancho - NO.

2nd set I have bought
My truck came with a set of these and just recently the passenger side blew. I have a 8inch lifted truck and just bought a new set and love the ride they give. I mostly to road driving but if you ever want to off road just adjust your shocks setting. Great shocks highly recommend.

Don't waste your money
This shock performed well, however at [$] per schock, with no warranty, one started leaking fluid after 6 months. This is on a lifted 07 FJ, so I called and had 4wheel parts, help me what was the appropriate schock I needed... Its driven as a daily driver with nothing more than highway miles and a few dirt roads.. I could have spent less money and found a product the could have handled equally as well and gotten more time out of them. I expect more out of pro-comp, Save your money

Whish I would have known :/
Installed on a 2010 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport after a 2.5" lift. The first thing I noticed is how hard the ride is, and it didn't take long to realize that I felt every pebble, every dip, every crack in the road. One test off road and I think it shook every bolt loose on the Jeep, including my teeth. Readjusted the 6 position adjustment from 4 to 1 to the(softest) setting and it is still too firm for daily driving. Note; it takes the big bumps okay but not the little ones, if that makes any sense, like it cant react fast enough to absorb the initial compression.

FEELS LIKE I'M RIDING ON AIR! AWESOME!
After a horrible experience with some Skyjacker Hydros for my 2010 Ford F-150 4x4 with a 6" lift, my local store recommended these. Wow, are these awesome! Out of the box, the factory setting is set to "softest ride", which is one of 6 settings. I started with the factory setting and took my truck for a test drive on the streets. I felt like I was riding on air! These are so nice!
BE CAREFUL INSTALLING THESE. They come pre-compressed from the factory and secured by a plastic tie strap. Install the end of the shock where the adjustable knob is at the bottom of the truck and bolt it in. Then, get ready because once you cut the strap the shock will expand! The guy at my local store said not to miss the bolt hole or I'd be out of luck. Thankfully, I got it the first time.

Great shocks had no problems since 2002
Had them installed in 02 2002Ram 1500 ride & handling perfect strong on & off road just replaced all 4 for another 10 years of fun
I have a ram 2014 1500 with a snow blade. I need to raise the truck at least two inches for easy attachment of the blade. Presently drive on stacked 2x8 boards. Is this shock easily adjusted while on the truck or does it need to be removed? Sorry I am not familiar with adjustable shocks. Thank you
Chuck from on
Sorry, this shock only compression dampening adjustable. They are not height adjustable. To lift the truck you will need the part number S/DShockingBIL5100w/FRTStrut. Thank you for the question.

I have 2.5" coil spacers in the rear of my truck and I need to know what is the extended length of this shock? My shocks now sit at 24.5" from eye to eye. I'm looking for a shock that I can stiffen when I'm pulling something.
Bird from Lakewood, Colorado on
Sir, shock part# MX6158 is 29.50" extended and 18.86" collapsed. If you are looking to stiffen the ride via adjustment this is what you are looking for. Thank you for your question.
