I purchased this product along with procomp splined lug nuts for my Jeep. The first time I used it to remove the lug nuts it broke. The fracture happened at the open end of the spline key and it cracked about 3/4 of an inch. The crack deformed the key enough that it could not grip the lug nuts. I had to order a replacement so I can get the lug nuts off, but once I do I will be switching to different lug nuts that do not require this tool.

spine key broke after loosening 6 lugs. now i'm stuck!!! wish they would use regular lug nuts instead of this spline junk.
now i have to search for a replacement and I can't drive my truck because half of the lugs nuts are loose

Don't waste your money
I used these lugs when I replaced my stock wheels/tires with AR Mojaves and some 285/75's..These lugs are horrible, it's a pain to get them off and they started rusting almost right away, not to mention if you loose the key your out of luck. I've had them on for about a year now and all the chrome has flaked off. If you need longer lugs for aftermarket wheels just get longer versions of the stock acorn style.

A "MUST" Buy!!! Oh, and buy alot of them
This is a necessary part to remove your wheel, however it will break easily. Thankfully they are inexpensive. Order at least 5 of them, you will need the spares, I promise.

Key broke 2nd time useing it leaving me stranded in my driveway. Luckily i live 10 miles from 4 W.P. Had to wait for my wife to get off work to steal her jeep. Cant trust it again. Also black lugs started to rust witin 6 months.

Better safe than sorry
I purchased this to have a back up, in case the one that came with the kit set gets lost.

Great Lugnuts... Only downfall is the special socket to remove them cannot be used with air tools!!!!
By Bildo from Grand Rapids, MI
Got them with my AR wheels. First the key socket broke after torqueing 2 wheels. No air guns were used. now after about two weeks i noticed that most of the nuts are rusting.

No not use in cold weather
In cold weather the lug key will bust. Not any good if you can't remove a wheel out on the trail.
Is this a 6 or 7 spline lug key? I ordered a key recently which I thought was the right one. I received a 6 spline, but I needed a 7 spline instead. Specs don't say, but I'd like some confirmation before I make the same mistake again. thanks !!
