The instructions are really self explanatory and not hard to read or follow at all. The only complaint I have is that the electrical connectors you get are definitely the cheapest they could find, the inline fuses should be inline instead of needing to be connected, and some wiring protection to hold the wires together would be nice.

4 Wheel parts installed it
the kit its self is pretty basic and it works but the switches are quite ugly i recommend you getting new switches.

Light Harness Switch Kit by Pro Comp
kit came with lots of wire and conecters all the parts you need to run 4 lights. Switch is good, mounts good and and looks good. The switch bracket is metal not plastic like the kits that are more money!

needs better crimp connectors maybe another color of wire but switches an relays work great and are easy to install plus good high quality wire

Good Kit for beginners
I got this to install some offroad driving lights. My install was a little more invoved because I used Factory light switches, and I'm new to this stuff.
The only issues I had with this kit is that I felt I needed to purchase different color wire to tell the difference when I was wiring it up and the kit came with an in-line fuse and the wiring diagram didn't tell me where it went.

The wire kit is easy to install and comes with the needed relay and diagram. I have installed many of them over the years and will buy again

Kit was very easy to install, even for an "electrically challenged" person like me. Simple, easy to understand directions. Two thumbs up!

simple, quality design
Unfortunately, many off road lights don't include a switch with purchase. Getting a relay/ switch helps extend the life of the switch because it doesn't carrry the load of the light, just the relay. I like to power my toggle with the high beam of my headlights, that way when I dim my headlights the accessory lights turn off at the same time. Nice when it's late at night trying to find that campsite...
I have 6 lights can I run 2 lights on 1 switch and 4 lights on a second switch or would it over load the relay and blow the fuse

Depending upon the AMP draw of the lights, we only run 2 lights on 1 switch. If they are LED then you can run 3 lights on each switch. Thank you.

My fuse link has corroded and I want to replace it. Unfortunately I don't know what amp fuse is in there. Can't read it. Thanks

We need to know what lights you are running?

I would like to know what gauge wire, solid or stranded, and what type of insulation is used in this kit.
Wagon Wheeler from Iowa on
it has 14ga stranded wire solid is never used in automotive wiring. The covering is a poly vinyl which is the standard for automotive wire. As far as I know solid wire is only used in buildings not automotive.
