Q: I put a 2.5" leveling kit on my 2007 Tundra back when I bought it, so it's been on there for 7 years this August. Should I replace it? I'm hearing more squeaking noises on the smallest bumps these days and was not sure if the leveling kit was the issue. Each time I get my oil changed at Midas, they drive it around and lube the ball joints, etc. but don't see a problem. I hear it all the time while driving. I guess I just want to know if it's smart to replace the leveling kit after 7 years and 130k miles? Thanks -Ashby Answer this question
A: Ashby- Thanks for the question. The Pro Comp Suspension 2.5 Inch Level Lift Strut Spacer is metal construction and should not ever need to be replaced. "Squeeking" in the front end is usualy a bushing or a shock/strut issue. I would recommend that you take your truck to our San Marcos store off the 78 at Nordahl and have them perform and inspection to determine where the noise is coming from.

Q: I have a 2014 Z71 LTZ - is this compatible, and what exactly comes "in the box"? And is there any concern for compromising the ball joints or any other part of my front suspension? I'm going to be running the stock 18" wheels and tires if it's of any concession. Answer this question
A: Jumbowicz- Thanks for your question. The Pro Comp Suspension 2.25 Inch Leveling Kit contains 2 torsion keys and 2 brackets. You can run your stock wheels and tires with this kit. The torsion keys will change the angle at which the ball joints ride but 2.5 inches will not cause them to fail prematurely.
