Pro Comp Nitro Kits are the economical alternative to a complete suspension system. The Nitro Kits utilize coil spring spacers, torsion keys, and strut spacers to achieve front lift. This leaves the factory steering geometry intact, preserving factory ride quality and handling. The rear lift is achieved through coil spring spacers, leaf spring shackles or lift blocks. If you want to add larger aftermarket wheels and tires to your rig without installing a complete suspension lift kit, Pro Comps Nitro Kits were designed with you specifically in mind.
These are great! I had 4WP install for me, trimming was required to stop any rubbing I had with 35/12.5 tires (-18 offset). The leveling kit does not affect ride quality IMO, still feels as good as stock. I gave 4 stars because the truck still has a slight forward rake (you can barely even notice and honestly I don’t mind)

Nitro 3/1 leveling kit
Ride is very good, used stock Toyota Tundra blistein shocks (only 3000 miles on them) only put toyo open country 275/70/18 AT's on it. The stance is much better than stock, look is far better than stock - put a level on it in several spots (it is level) not real aggresive looking - just better with out any sacrifice. Guys at 4wheel parts Santa Ana did a very good and quick install.

ok lift for $
the installation of this kit was fairly easy outside of replacing lca due to seized cam bolts. the front gave 2.5 inches as stated but the rear barely gave 1" so prevous to lift i had 1 " rake (higher in rear) after lift 1/2" rake (higher in front) I will have to install blocks or aal.

Excellent lift kit
My initial rating is 4 stars. Once I install larger tires I will update this review accordingly. To start, the truck looks great!!! No more droop in the front. I will be towing a 20 foot boat soon so I will then see how the rear holds up to a load. As far as ride quality goes, I do not see much difference from before the install. The truck does feel more solid and the ride a tad bit stiffer, which I like.

Simple lift/leveling kit for a near factory ride. Reasonable cost. I purchased for looks only and not for off road use while using my OEM wheels.

good leveling lift
I got this lift kit for my 03 tahoe, got a pair of 285/70R17's for free so i ordered this kit. I did install this at home on jack stands, the overall install was very easy. I did have a issue with one of the keys staying on the bar, ended up taking out the cross member and torsion bar and heating it up and hiting it with a sledge. Overall a good starting small lift and easy to do if you got the tools to do so.

installed on 2006 Tacoma
After installing front end had a vibration. I replaced one axle and it helped. Going to put some miles on it and see if it goes away. I think maybe this kit needs to come longer axels.

procomp 3 inch lift kit
this was a great kit exactly what i was looking for. everything was pretty simple with a little mechanic know how. the only bad was that it was missing a few self tapping screws. but all and all it was a good kit love the lift.

Hi, I have an 05' escalade with autoride, will this work properly? I have found mixed information on lifting with the autoride system, and want to make sure it will work.
Vince from NJ on
The Autoride system has computer controlled shock dampening and rear auto leveling.
I do not recommend lifting the Escalade because of the Autoride system and because
of the AWD. The Escalades are All Wheel Drive and lifting it will cause
driveline and drive axle vibration. Thank You for your question.

wich blisten shocks are recommended to be added to this kit?
enrique from mexico on
You will need part number Part Number: S/DShockingBIL5100w/FRTStrut. this will get you the two front struts and two rear shocks needed. Thank you for the question.
