Q: Will this spring fit on my 1997 ford f150 v8 4.6 Answer this question
A: Jake, These springs are for a 1990-1996 ford F150 or Bronco 4x4. Your 1997 F150 is different and these will not fit. If your truck is a 4x4 it has torsion bars if its 2wd it has coil springs but you will need upper control arms to install a 3" coil spring. You cannot just install larger springs without the other suspension parts.

Q: I have 2004 Silverado ex cab LS Vin T with 5.3 motor. I have a lift in place now that consist of a 2" coil spacer and a 4" spindle I would like to get a little bit more lift and retire the spacers. Would these coils be a good way of doing so with out any other components? I have taller shocks installed as well and extended brake lines. Answer this question
A: Josh, These coils only work with the full pro comp lift kit. The kit drops the lower control arms when using these coils. If you installed these they would end up maxing out your ball joints and breaking them without the cross member drops. The 2" spacer you already have is really the max without installing a full lift kit.

You will require a lot of additional components to complete a lift on the Ford Twin Traction Beam Front axle. I would recommend the purchase of a complete suspension system so you dont have any problems with your truck. http://jo.my/h1444d Thank your

Q: can i just put these springs in or do i have to have more suspension lift kit parts installed before mounting the springs. it looks like there will be an issue with the rack and pinion steering components, Answer this question
A: Rick there are many other components required when lifting a truck. You cannot just shove a set of springs in to your vehicle and expect it to work. The truck that the springs in question are made to fit require Spindles and drop brackets to accommodate the lift. the rack and pinion can not be moved thus the custom spindles move the steering back where it needs to be to compensate for the lift. The EXPK1078BMX http://jo.my/8nayn1 is a complete suspension kit with all the components required to properly lift a 1999-2007 Chevrolet 1500 2WD Thank you for your inquiry

Pro Comp Suspension has spent the last two-and-a-half decades engineering, testing and manufacturing products that will give Jeep drivers the confidence to dominate whatever terrain is ahead. The Pro Comp Promise Life Time Warranty is forever. Pro Comp's warranty goes with the suspension products on Jeeps whether or not the Jeep owner is the person who originally purchased the product. Pro Comp Suspension can afford to give such a warranty because the products are produced at the Pro Comp facility in San Diego, California under exacting manufacturing standards. Pro Comp Suspension is the only suspension company with products that are tested under true driving conditions on outside roads, rather than simulated testing. Shop Pro Comp Suspension Now
