The upper and lower mounts are heavy-duty Teflon steel alloy spherical bearings to eliminate deflection. The vehicle specific ride tuning was derived after extensive dyno and real-world testing. The result is multi-stage valving that optimizes ride quality and handling characteristics for your specific application. The brushed, Zinc plated, clear coated, monotube shock body is nitrogen gas charged to eliminate performance-robbing cavitation during compression and rebound, allowing the shock to dissapate heat more efficiently, drastically reducing shock fade. The external reservior allow for additonal fluid capacity and maximum heat dissapation.
Purchased a set of these on here for my 2016 GMC Sierra 1500. Off the bat they look great. Packaging is awesome and the shocks themselves look good. Upon installation I found one shock missing the metal spacer for the mounting adapter. This caused play between the top hat of the shock and the mounting adapter. I had to get a new spacer machined for it to fix the issue. Sadly the worst part of these is the ride. The ride is truly terrible on these shocks. At first I thought it was because I put the sliders down some to gain more lift. After I put the sliders back up to how they were it still rode horrible. Pretty bummed on them. I put factory shocks and a spacer back in temporarily until I can afford some fox or king coilovers. Overall save your time and money and buy a name brand coilover.
