What is hub centric? Also will this wheel fit my 2014 Tacoma Double Cab 4x4 w/ 3" lift
Goose from Hawaii on
Hello there, When installed on a vehicle, hub centric wheels are located directly off of the center flange of the brake drum or rotor. This means that the outer beads of the wheels are concentric with the wheel bearings which creates a much better balanced wheel and tire assembly. Aftermarket wheels usually have a standard center bore size to accommodate a wide variety of vehicles. Hub centric rings are rings that cover the spacing between the center bore of an aftermarket wheel to the hub of the vehicle. Hub rings are important because they secure the wheel in place and help prevent any type of vibration issue. The Pro Comp Alloy Wheels Series 1089, 17x8 with 6 on 5.5 Bolt Pattern - Polished will work with your truck.

Will these fit my 1997 4wd 1500 silverado w/ 2" leveling kit? With 33/12.50r17 will they stick out much?
Todd from Lansing, MI on
Yes this wheel does work on the 97 4WD trucks. They have a 4.5 back spacing so they won't be sticking way out.
