Being fairly new to running beadlocks, but very well informed overall, let’s be honest, anytime we look for a new wheel, looks are what hooks you and gets us to take the next steps to do more research. After running on the road for a couple months now and hitting a few trails up in Big Bear (I wasn’t nice to them) they held up great!! The counter sunk grade 8 bolts were fully protected, unlike by buddy’s rims (he broke two exposed bolts) and aside from coming out with a few well deserved battle scars on the rings, they held up great and still look sexy.

Setup: 1981 FJ40, 17x9', 3.75" BS with 37x12.5R17 Pit Bull Rockers. I Bought these in November 2019 and installed them over the winter. I chose these as my 1st set of bead-locks because of the price, the simple styling, and the fact they are a national brand, so I assume I can count on them to have the same model in stock if I should need to make a warranty claim. The machining and finish are excellent, the lock ring is thick and beefy. The zinc coated hardware is high quality and the Nord Lock washers are a nice touch and keep the bolts secure. My single complaint about these rims is the fact that they won't accommodate tires with a thick bead, like Pit Bull and GY Wrangler MTs, without lock ring spacers... AND PRO COMP does NOT sell a spacer for this wheel. I have no idea why they don't but, they don't. I used BATTLE BORN WHEELS GATEKEEPER BEADLOCK RING SPACER KIT. They didn't fit outright and they required trimming of the inner diameter to fit the radius of the rime and required drilling of the holes to open them up to fit the larger diameter bolts used on the PRO COMP beadlock rings. The tires are holding air no problem and have not spun on the wheels.
