Fantastic lift that outperforms my expectations

I bought this kit to clear 33 inch bfg km2's. The lift flexes smoothly and without any resistance. My Jeep now rides better and no longer gets death wobble on the freeway.

I'm an experienced mechanic and the installation instructions are not good.part labeling and images horrible.not for do it yourselfers.but after all that and some choice words.looks good rides nice.

Pro Comp Lift

I have had the Stage II kit in the Jeep for a couple of years, and I have taken it on a few offroad trips, including high rating trails. Only recently did I take the Jeep in to get the alignment checked. After checking everything out, the 4 Wheel parts mechanic said everything was perfect and no adjustments were needed. The shocks show no signs of wear, despite being stretched and stressed repeatedly. Given a two year run, with about 20K miles on the road, and more than average offroad exposure, I would consider this a pretty durable system. Visit my blog for More:

Great basic lift kit

Had this kit installed at 4 Wheel Parts with a detachable antisway bar. Kit was recommended by the manager. This is a great combo. With the sway bar attached, the Jeep handles great on the street. Pop the pins and detach the sway bar, and the wheel travel is excellent. Tackled a short Category 5 trail in Death Valley with no problem whatsoever. Overall a nice compromize between price and performance.

Decent Lift

The instructions were definitely not written for non-mechanics. I had a mechanic friend help me install the lift. Once installed, I was definitely pleased with the results. Definitely worth the money. There was some modifications made to the frame to add a bracket to the front. It required drilling a couple of large holes in the frame. There is no way this could have been installed in my driveway, especially with a decent selection of tools I have. It required tools / bits that most normal shade tree mechanics would not have.
