Bought these for my 2010 JK on stock wheels; great tires on and off road. My family property is a big hill in the Pocono Mountains of PA and these tires have never slipped a wheel. Mud, rocks, or rolling over logs when heading uphill these tires are awesome! They were recommended by a friend who has a size or three larger and does a lot of highway driving and "our tires" are both wearing like iron.

Best Mud Tire
I have an '07 4Runner with a mild lift. I take VERY good care of my tires. (air pressure, alignment, etc.) This is the second set of Xtreme MT2s that I have purchased. They do have a little road hum, but far less than others. I switched from BFG All-Terrains, and KM2s. The BFGs just didn't last. I go off-road about 30% of the time. I use my tires to get back to those little known fishing spots, and the little trails that end at the river where I can put my kayak in the water. I have used these to pull a Jeep Cherokee out of a mud hole (that he had no business being in.) These are the best mud tires on the market. My buddies with Jeeps go through Nittos like I go through underwear. I don't have that kind of money. If you want a good, capable off-road tire, you can't go wrong with the Xtreme MT2s.

Thank you for your question. Your 2000 Silverado 2wd came stock with a 255/70-16 option that is a 30 inch tall tire by 10 and the Pro Comp is a 32 inch tall by 10.5. If the truck is stock this will be to tall for the vehicle.
