POP N lock Manual Tailgate Locks

TAILGATE LOCK FIT MY 2003 SILVERADO LIKE A GLOVE REMOVE ONE SCREW INSIDE TAILGATE, LOOSEN THE OTHER TWO AND SECURE LOCK WITH PROVIDED ONE-WAY SCREW. SO EASY EVEN MY DOG COULD HAVE PUT IN ON. I LOVE IT AND IT WORKS AS GOOD AS ADVERTISED.

I have taking the cap off my truck and putting on a Toro, I realize the tailgate didn’t lock now the search for the lock began finding four wheel parts. I found the lock that works great on my truck so now my tailgate is secure easy to install, and gives me some security.

Installation was a little tricky. With some patience, it will work. Luckily, I did not have to modify the lock at all. I do recommend using a different screw. The one in the box is a one way screw and cannot be loosend. Great for security, but can be a pain if your tailgate latch inevitably fails. I also recommend replacing your plastic tailgate clips as they can become brittle and break. They can be a hassle to replace once your tailgate lock is installed, especially with the factory screw. Overall, the lock seems to be very solid. It looks almost factory as well. Can't complain much. ߑ
