The Poison Spyder Tire Carrier Delete Plates for TJ/LJ and YJ perfectly fits the lower panel between your Jeep's tailgate and bumper, to complete the Poison Spyder body armor on your Jeep. CNC-laser cut from high strength but lightweight aluminum plate, the Tire Carrier Delete Plate features the instantly recognizable Poison Spyder logo, marking your Jeep as one that is always ready and willing for some hardcore action! The Tire Carrier Delete Plate comes as bare aluminum, for you to paint, powder coat, polish or leave raw. Easily installs with supplied black truss-head pop-rivets. The Poison Spyder Tire Carrier Delete Plate is designed to fit Jeep YJ, TJ and LJ, but can also be used on CJ's with some trimming to clearance the tailgate hinges. The Tire Carrier Delete Plate fits with Poison Spyder Crusher Corners, or with any manufacturer's rear corner protection armor that ends at the vertical body seam between the quarter panel and the tailgate. The Tire Carrier Delete Plate is available in bare aluminum or with textured black powder coat.

Cant Call It What It Is...
I can't call this item what it is, so I have to dance around this carefully. This is a really nice quality product for a great price point. Decently thick material that does not feel flimsy. The powder coating is great and seems to be holding up to stuff abrading it. Fitment was spot on, fits my wide vent with ease, and the plate holder still allows the vent to do it's job. Really sets off the fastback Jeep look by cleaning up the back end a lot.

I believe this is a must for anyone removing the factory spare tire carrier. The plate really cleans up the rear of the JK.

Poison Spyder Customs has a heritage in hardcore off-road accessories that started when founder Larry McRae was little. McrRae's daddy use to load him up in the Ford Bronco to explore the off-road trails of the southwest. McRae became a professional rock crawler who raced for Nelson & Nelson Racing in the early 2000s. McRae purchased PSC from the Slay family and kept the vision of developing and fabricating high end quality off-road accessories right in the Pomona, California headquarters . McCrae and his wife are members of the Inland Empire 4 Wheel Drive club. McCrae himself is a Past President and Mrs. McCrae is a past Treasurer.
