PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Poison Spyder JL/JT Body Armor is recommended for anyone venturing into off-road situations where body damage is eminent. JL/JT Body Armor protects the thin factory sheet metal with rugged, precision-fit 3/16" plate aluminum. Used by itself, the body armor hugs the Jeep's body contours to provide protection with no loss of ground clearance. Used with the factory Rubicon rocker rails, the body armor helps prevent trail damage that can be caused by rocks pushing the factory rocker rails up into the body. Used with Poison Spyder's Rocker Knockers, the JL/JT Body Armor provides one more line of defense for your Jeep. The black SpyderShell Armor Coat finish carries a 5-year limited warranty.

Flimsy not 3/16 aluminum as advertised
The skins are super flimsy, advertised as 3/16th aluminum but when I compare to 3/16 steel plate they look closer to 1/8th thick.

Picture not accurate
Awesome body armor made for the JT. The pics all show JL body armor but I received JT armor that covers fender to fender. It is a little bit thinner than the armor for my JK but I would still buy it again.

Poison Spyder Customs has a heritage in hardcore off-road accessories that started when founder Larry McRae was little. McrRae's daddy use to load him up in the Ford Bronco to explore the off-road trails of the southwest. McRae became a professional rock crawler who raced for Nelson & Nelson Racing in the early 2000s. McRae purchased PSC from the Slay family and kept the vision of developing and fabricating high end quality off-road accessories right in the Pomona, California headquarters . McCrae and his wife are members of the Inland Empire 4 Wheel Drive club. McCrae himself is a Past President and Mrs. McCrae is a past Treasurer.
