PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The Bruizer front bumper for JK is a grille-width, high clearance bumper with recessed winch mounting. This bumper is fabricated from 3/16" plate steel, CNC laser-cut and precision brake-formed into a low profile, high clearance design for optimum off-road performance. The ends of the bumper extend far enough to protect the lower corner of the JK grille, but not far enough to hinder tire clearance or tire access to vertical obstacles. This product is finished in black with Poison Spyders proprietary SpyderShell Armor Coat process.

Plate Steel Construction - Bruizer series bumpers are fabricated from 3/16" plate steel, CNC laser-cut and precision brake-formed into a low profile, high clearance design. The ends of the bumper extend far enough to protect the lower corner of the JK grille, but not far enough to hinder tire clearance or tire access to vertical obstacles. Recessed Winch Mount - A Winch may be installed into a heavy-duty winch mount cradle that is separate from the structure of the Bruizer bumper shell. This provides maximum mounting strength for the winch, while also locating it as low as possible within the bumper shell. The recessed winch provides unimpeded airflow through the Jeeps radiator at highway speeds, and keeps the weight of the winch as low as possible to achieve a Low Center Of Gravity. Your winch fairlead mounts directly to the integrated fairlead mount on the front of the bumper, eliminating the need to purchase a separate fairlead mount. The Bruiser bumper is compatible with most Warn, Smittybilt, and other brand winches that use the popular 10" x 4.5" mounting pattern, including Warn ZEON series winches up to model 10S. (Poison Spyder ZEON Winch Spacers are not necessary with this bumper).

Brawler Bar - The Brawler Bar is modeled after the bar found on our original RockBrawler front bumper. It is a low-profile stinger designed to provide protection to the winch, grille and radiator area. The Brawler Bar is made of CNC laser-notched, NC-bent 1-3/4" diameter .120" wall DOM tubing. The complex laser-cut notch allows the Brawler Bar to be welded to two different planes on the surface of the bumper, providing incredible strength. CNC laser notched DOM tube gussets strengthen the Brawler Bar.

Optional Front Skid Available - The Bruizer Front Bumper is installed without cutting or altering the Jeeps frame rails. The faceted design of the Brawler Lite provides the best ground clearance and approach angle possible in a bumper that doesn't require frame modifications. The factory "Crash Bar" requires minor trimming, but may be left otherwise intact or removed for a sleek appearance and high clearance. If keeping the crash bar, we recommend adding the JK Bruizer Front Skid (sold separately), which conceals the crash bar and protects the electronic sway bar disconnect. The skid is sold as a separate piece for those who would prefer to cut away the crash bar and run without the skid, in favor of increased clearance on the trail.

Recessed LED Cube Light Mounts - The Bruizer Front Bumper includes provisions for mounting a pair of Rigid Industries Dually (or similar) LED pod lights for use as fog lamps or auxiliary off-road lights. These light mounts are recessed, fully protecting the LED light fixtures from rocks and trail hazards. Mounts are compatible with most 2X2 LED cube lights (Pro-Comp 76406P, Rigid D-Series, or similar). IMPORTANT: Note that the LED Lamps do NOT come with this bumper, they must be purchased separately.

Extreme Duty Recovery Shackle Tabs - These Extreme Duty Recovery Shackle Tabs are CNC machined from 1" thick steel billet, and pass through the shell of the bumper and are welded on both sides. These tabs are specifically designed to accept Poison Spyders heavy-duty 3/4" Recovery Shackles. These tabs are designed to match the high clearance aspects of the rest of the bumper and minimized hang-ups.

SpyderShell Armor Coat - SpyderShell is more than just powder coating - its a complete system that includes the state of the art in preparation, application, materials and packaging to ensure that your SpyderShell products stay looking great for years. The SpyderShell process has been engineered to provide your Poison Spyder product with years of unmatched great looks, corrosion protection and weather-resistance. Our proprietary 6-stage system starts with media blasting the entire part, to remove contaminants and prep the metal surface for the best possible adhesion. Next, any seams are sealed with 3M Scotch-Weld to block moisture from entering and causing corrosion where the powder can not reach. The first coat to be applied is a zinc-rich powdered black primer, which is baked on to form an impenetrable bond between the metal product and the coating. The primer is black--rather than traditional gray--so that any rock chips or trail damage are less conspicuous. The final top coat is an industrial grade, "super-durable" architectural finish in semi-gloss black, which is engineered to retain its appearance through years of exposure to sun and weather. SpyderShell is a coating process unmatched by any other Jeep armor aftermarket manufacturer, for which we are confident in offering a 5-year warranty on materials and workmanship.
