Poison Spyder Crusher Flares turn your Jeep's vulnerable front fenders into hard core armor that can take on the toughest rocks! Poison Spyder Crusher Flares were the first-to-market form-fitting, all-steel replacement flare for the current model Jeep. Recent imitations have yet to duplicate the Crusher Flare's adherence to the subtle contours of the Jeep's body lines, nor Poison Spyder's industry-best inner bracing system for anchoring the flare to the more rigid inner structure of the Jeep.
All Poison Spyder products adhere to our rigid standards for design, function, style and quality. Function is our foremost concern, with products that help rather than hinder your progress through the most extreme 4x4 trails and obstacles. Form follows function, with a signature Poison Spyder style that is instantly recognizable and sets the design standard for an entire industry. All of our products are 3-D CAD Designed and proudly Made in the U.S.A. All plate steel components are CNC Laser Cut and precision brake-formed. All tubular components are made of high quality American DOM tubing that is CNC laser notched and NC Bent. We invest the extra time and care to Trigger Weld all of our assemblies for deep, uniform weld penetration and beautiful, Motorsport Quality Welds. There are cheaper ways to manufacture parts, but anything less than the best materials and methods wouldn't be worthy of the Poison Spyder logo.
excellent product. very strong construction material. with a very good finish.
By far the best looking fenders on the market! Easy to install except for the passenger side lower bracket which isn’t happening.
The aluminum fenders are awesome I don’t believe four-wheel parts when they tell you they’re in stock and they will be there within a few days. Just doesn’t seem to happen that way does it.
Absolutely love these fenders, they are worth the money. The fenders went on my 2014 Jeep JK and I rhino lined them and they turned out great. The install on these is medium-hard, if you know what you’re doing on vehicles you should be fine. Any DIY’er can do it, just make sure you have enough time set aside. Personally it took me about a total of 6 hours on each fender, but I as well was doing inner liners at the same time. There are plenty of YouTube videos on how to do the install but as well the instructions are decently clear on what to do. The only complaint I have so far was that they took quite a while to get shipped to me, about 3 weeks. If you want to get rid of the stock fenders and make your Jeep look like a real off-road rig, buy these. The difference is immaculate and will really make you smile. I’ve attached pictures of the process of everything on how exactly I went about rhino lining them as well because companies try and charge ridiculous amounts to do it for you. The rhino line on the fenders was completely dry and ready to be installed in about 7 hours. Total time to rhino line was about 10 hours including dry time and in between coats.
When I got the boxes and it said Designed in USA, built in Taiwan, I was a little disappointed and concerned about the quality of the product. When I opened the boxes and looked at the fenders, the quality was excellent, great welds with no weld splatter, powder coating is great and everything was well protected inside the boxes. There is a downside, the locking nuts that come in the hardware kits absolutely suck. They bind up before the even get seated, I ended up locking the bolts in a vise and running the nuts on and off the bolts just to loosen the up so I could run them all the way down when I actually installed them. The bracket that goes on the front end of the flare is difficult to install because of the 90+ degree bend in it. There is not enough clearance for the nut to cover the bolt hole so I had to open the bolt hole up to allow access to the nut. Other than that, the fenders themselves are excellent.
Very well built JK front fenders. Perfect fit. Delivered right. Took out of package and looked over parts. Primed both fenders then painted the top side. Rhino the underside and installed fenders. Perfect! Thank you
These are super strong fender flares that tie into the structure of the Jeep which most of them do not. Very pleased with the end result. However, the images in the instructions are of very poor quality and difficult to clearly see what it is they are trying to show you. If you intend to reuse your plastic inner fender liners they tell you to just be careful and take your time measuring when a template that picked up a few of the stock holes could easily be provided that would save a ton of time and ensure a perfect end result. So the product itself is excellent, the instructions could be improved upon. Thank goodness for YouTube.
If you are looking for thin, not wide fenders these are it!! Gave my jeep a different look and I painted these to the color of my jeep and it looks amazing. Definitely would recommend these fenders!!!
Q: Are these made in USA? Answer this question
A: the sticker on the box says so, but since they were bought out by 4wheelparts and there is no manufacturing plant that i could get ahold of for a problem. probably not.
