Q: i have installed a painless wire harness in my project car. It has been running now for 6 mo. or so. When I drive at night the headlights tend to black out after being on for about 5 to ten min. and sometimes comes back on for a spell. My question is. where is the self setting circuit breaker for the headlights located It sounds like this is the problem does it not thank you Rick Answer this question
A: Hello Rick The circuit breaker is normally in the headlight switch itself. What I do is run a relay for the headlamps and use the headlamp switch to control the relay. Or it could be a defective headlamp switch.
