    Q: are holes punched for padded dash installation Answer this question

    A: There aren’t any holes for padded dash. Just access holes for wiper linkage.

    A: This replacement windshield frame from Omix fits 67-75 Jeep CJ5 and 67-71 CJ6 with bottom-mounted wipers. For windshield to cowl weather-strip, use 12302.02. Replaces OE 987996. No mention about padded dash.

    Q: Are the hinge thread plates installed in frame? Is it closer to original equipment than the Crown product? Answer this question

    A: Hello Rob They both have the nut plates threaded and installed in the frame. Both of the frames are imported and are of the same basic quality.
