Q: Will this shaft reduce excess play and wandering common to the original stock shaft coupler at the power steering unit, and at the coupler at the steering column? 1982 Jeep CJ-7 Answer this question
A: Hello Yes the lower coupler is problem they seem to be the most common area for play. This shaft is a very nice upgrade and helps a bunch. The top little stock u-joint also gets a lot of play in it and at the slip area of shaft. We sell a large number of them and have had no complaints with the improvement.
