The Nitto Mud Grappler Extreme Terrain tires are designed to provide exceptional off-road traction. The Mud Grappler features monstrous 15mm side-lugs, which provide excellent sidewall puncture resistance along with outstanding rock crawling and mud traction. The computer designed tread pattern features a high void ratio for excellent clearing of mud and dirt, anti-side slip grooves for better lateral traction, and sipes for performance on snow and slush. The Mud Grappler features three-ply, high turn-up polyester sidewalls that provide strength and durability in demanding terrain.
Very nice excellent quality ,excellent in mud and rocks
After 14 months of casual using, they started cracking just at hte side lugs, just about 60% of the tread life has been used, mostly on hard pavement roads.
I have these tires on my 94 chevy 2500 and i pull the boat camper and ATV out to the camp and some times im up to the diffs in mud when i'm pulling the camper but these tires just pull me through, dont have to unload the ATV anymore.
Love the loudness,it keeps cars out of my way on highways. Great off road, grabs everything. Can drop to 9 lbs of pressure and crawl all day w/o problems. Strong sidewalls can withstand tree limbs and rocks without issue. Tires last a long time. Love, love, love these big, meaty, car crushing, rock grabbing, mud slinging, B-15 sounding, solid slabs of rubber. Just make more in my size. Having a hard time finding 35s with 16 in. diameter. Please make more of them....
Very good ride on-road, LOUD at freeway speeds, (I like it ) climbs rocks and dirt well, chucks mud a long, long way. In fact the only issue I had was on a muddy sidewall; with no longitudinal ribs, nothing holds your line. Not an issue for me very often, and I will use this tire again.
Casual driver Look mean I just purchased a set of 38's had 37's before, was going to go w/ the 38" toyos but nothing beats the look of a grappler If you don't mind the noise grab a set, plus they sound mean rolling down the highway
I put these tires on my Dodge 2500 in 2011 and still going strong. I use my truck to pull my toy hauler to the mountains and desert, hunting and fishing. I would compare these tires to the Interco TSL Swampers for off road traction. Traction in snow and sand is great, but traction in the mud is UN BELEAVABLE. I don't get any sway puling on mountain roads. I love the HUMMMM of these tries. If you have a 4x4 that you actually use off road, these are the tires to have. If you put these on your mall crawler and complain about the noise, triad your 4x4 in and get a Prius.

Q: How well would these tires do on the streets? Also would they look mean on a 10 inch wide rim? Which would be better the Toyo Mt or these for lasting quality and miles? Answer this question
A: Hello Big Perm, Thank you for asking. The Nitto 37x13.50R18LT, Mud Grappler would look perfect on a 10" wide wheel. On a personal level I would rather go with the Toyo's. Don't get me wrong, the Mud Grapplers are beefy looking and a good tire but when it comes to millage life I think the Toyo's has it beat.

Q: I have a 2011 Ford F150 Lariat 4x4. Looking to put a leveling kit on it. What's the niggest tire I can put on it? Also what's the best all around tire on and off road for highway, wet, mud, snow, and ice? I've been looking at the ProComp MT2 and Nitto TerraGrappler. Answer this question
A: Thank you for your question Taylor. If you plan on adding a leveling kit to your 2011 Ford F150 Lariat 4x4 check with the manufacture of what size tire that will work with that kit. Some leveling kits have regulations as to what will fit with that kit. Both of the Pro Comp and Nitto are great for an all around tire.
