The all-new Trail Grappler M/T blends some of the off-road performance of the Mud Grappler with the on-road comfort of the Terra Grappler to create a tire that is both aggressive and quiet. For off-road performance, the sidewall combines a 3-ply high turn-up construction with a thick rubber compound that cushions the tire and helps prevent punctures. On the tread surface, the blocks are configured to provide additional biting edges that command lateral stability and enhance forward traction. For on-road comfort, Nittos engineers used advanced sound analysis equipment to reduce the noise levels commonly associated with off-road tires. The internal construction and tread design also help optimize tread life. Two wide steel belts provide a stable base for the tire and increase tread strength. This advanced construction provides optimal uniformity and reduces irregular wear.
Purchased for my 7.3l F250 and ran them both highway and off-road. My favorite set of tires and lasted so much longer than I expected. The installer made sure I ran them at 53psi to ensure they maintained the same load carrying capacity as the stock setup.
He explained that not doing so can cause excessive wear and poor performance. Neither he an I expected the mileage that I obtained. I also rotated and balanced them every 6k miles and maintained proper air pressure weekly.

Below average mud tire!
Run these tires on Ram 2500 set of 35-12.50, I've had them on the truck for a little over a year and about 12k miles. They look aggressive but are nothing special in the mud or sand and provide no traction in rain and snow. These tires were recommended to me by a big chain tire shop and I've disliked them from the start they are around 1/2 tread already and are constantly out of balance. I've run pretty much every type of mud tire and these and the Cooper Discoverer STT are the worst!
