PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The all-new Trail Grappler M/T blends some of the off-road performance of the Mud Grappler with the on-road comfort of the Terra Grappler to create a tire that is both aggressive and quiet. For off-road performance, the sidewall combines a 3-ply high turn-up construction with a thick rubber compound that cushions the tire and helps prevent punctures. On the tread surface, the blocks are configured to provide additional biting edges that command lateral stability and enhance forward traction. For on-road comfort, Nittos engineers used advanced sound analysis equipment to reduce the noise levels commonly associated with off-road tires. The internal construction and tread design also help optimize tread life. Two wide steel belts provide a stable base for the tire and increase tread strength. This advanced construction provides optimal uniformity and reduces irregular wear.

5.0 Awsome M/T

I love these tires they bite in to the trail like a T Rex,. I have owned them for about 2 1/2 years now and they still have lots of tread. Took them to North Az trails, California, and Moab. Pretty quiet for an M/T would definitely buy them again.

5.0 Great Tire

I've had these tires on my 2007 z71 for 4 years now. I keep them balanced and rotated with every oil change and have gotten 52,000 miles out of them so far. I'm a little below 10% tread at this point and am getting ready to buy another set. They are a little pricey, but I'm not sure what other mud tire you are going to get 50,000+ miles out of, so the price is worth it. The only drawbacks that I have noticed is that they are a little noisy for the first 1000 or so miles and then quiet down and then the last 3000-4000 miles as they have shown significant wear they have gotten louder as well. They are a pretty heavy tire but not so heavy that they will make a huge difference in fuel economy. These are the first set of mud tires that I have ever run and I love them.

5.0 Great Tires!

1) The trail grapplers were good...these are better. 2) If you are driving a vehicle equipped with a tire like this, you have to understand that there will be tradeoffs. If you want to hear a pin drop on your commute, sell your jeep/truck/suv and buy a tesla. 3) If you want grip, durability and great looks...your search is over.

5.0 Best MT I've ever had

Mine are on a 2005 Dodge Diesel 4x4 and I have 40,000 miles on them so far. They are down to about 10% now but I'm still running them. Best MT tire I've ever had. I've changed brands everytime trying to find one I like and this is it. I've never gotten more than 25,000 miles out of a set until these. I pull alot of trailers heavily loaded and I would say close to half of my miles are on dirt/gravel roads. Normally the rocky roads eat up my tires but these lasted much better with fewer flats. This will be the first time I am going to buy the same tire 2 times in a row. These tires also seemed a little more quiet on the highway the my MT's that I've ran. Even though they cost more than alot of the other mt's I think they are worth it because of the milage they give you and they are one of the few in my size that offer a 10ply rating for hauling. I really have had no complaints with these tires.

4.0 Fantastic tire!

This tire is a bit noisier then most, but for what it will get you through, I wouldn't trade it. I have a Jeep Wrangler, and it just destroys EVERYTHING in its path! The extra noise is definitely worth it! I saw someone else had a problem with it pulling to the left....I don't have that problem.

Q: What tire pressure should I run these tires at? My jeep is a 2011 JKU with a skyjacker 2.5" lift, 17x9" procomp black wheels..I bought the package from you guys, mounted and balanced with the tire pressure monitors. Also what is the true height of the tire when installed, so I know what to put in my programer? When I messure the tire it comes up at 33.5"? It is supposted to be a 35" tire! Currently I have the tire pressure at 30lbs. And adjusted the programer to 22lbs. so the monitor doesn't go off. I check the pressure EVERY day, cause the light was on for 2 weeks till I adjusted, the low pressure sensor to 22lbs. and it finally went off. Answer this question

A: Hi Skyjkr, Since this Nitto Trail Grappler is a load range E you can run a relatively low tire pressure without damage, we recommend 29lb to 33lb, depending on if you're wheeling or its mostly street use. The diameter of this tire is 34.84" according to the manufacturer, we are not sure why you are measuring 33.5". Thanks for the inquiry.

Q: 2014 rubicon unlimited 1. Does this come with wheels or just the tire? 2. Will this work with teraflex wheel offset adapters? 3. Can I still use my factory Tpms on these tires? Thank you very much Answer this question

A: Stone, the Nitto 35x12.50R17LT, Trail Grappler are sold individually with the tire only. All wheels are sold separately. If you use the TMPS, you can order the wheels and tires loose, and have them mounted locally. I hope this helps.
