Q: I have a 2005 tj wrangler 4.0l gas, the temp. gage in the cab reads 210 degrees. Will this stat. work in my stock engine, I notice when it is cold and the temp. gage is below 200 degrees it seems a lot more responsive, or would this stat harm my engine? mark Answer this question
A: Hello markmercer60, Thank you for the question. The motor in your vehicle requires a 195 deg. thermostat. I suggest against installation the 180 in your vehicle.
