Hello Jdub, The Mountain Off Road Enterprises Universal Shock Mounts is designed for axle housings, this 3/16" formed bracket has a 1/2" hole for the shock. This style mounts the shock with the bolt parallel to the housing tube. Inside dimension of the ears is 1-1/2.
After installing these on my jeep, how much longer shock can I run? like now I have a 4" lift and the shocks were included in the lift kit, so how much more room will I gain with these mounts? I have 14" travel rancho shocks waiting to install on my jeep.
Answer this question
Since all Jeep's are a little different you will need to install the Mountain Off Road Enterprises Long Travel Front Shock Brackets MRESH300 and articulate the Jeep to get shock lengths. This will ensure you get the correct shock the first time. You will need the extension and compressed shock lengths (Bump Stop to Full Droop). Thank you for the email.
