This tire digs on everything. Straight traction. I just wish they had more flex in the tire when aired down.
Quiet on the road for a mud tire. I had my toyota out last weekend in 20+ inches of snow. I couldnt get stuck, tires just kept pulling. Embarrassed the other guys on KM2s
2 week review. They are a specialized tire. Fantastic traction for off road. Difficult to mount without a tire machine due to the heavy sidewall lugs and soft compound makes them easy to tear during this process. It runs like a heavy bias ply, for which it is. Balances out real nice using airsoft pellets.
Great tires that work well in the snow. Quiet on highway
These things have been great so far on and off road. Loud but that’s a given when you’re getting tires like these. Very even wear for 8k miles.
Q: About how long would they last If driven on pavement ? Answer this question
A: These are DOT-approved for highway use. These are bias-ply tires, they will not wear as well or as long as the radial version.

Q: Road Noise, any reports of excessive road noise? Answer this question
A: These are mud terrain tires, so they will be a bit louder than normal all terrain tires. I wouldn't say it is excessive - just normal when you go to a larger, MT tire.

Q: Unlike the OP, I would use these for 80% off-road only and 20% on-road since my jeep is still street legal. Have you guys had any feedback on these with tire balancing? Basically, will they balance out? For the small percentage of on-road driving I'd still prefer not to have my steering wheel feel like it's having a seizure. Thanks Answer this question
A: Hello, the Maxxis Tires 37X12.50-17 Trepador Bias part# MXXTL30025300 will balance out. These tires will be a little rough when they get going because they are bias and they tend to get flat spots but when they smooth out they will ride fine. Thank you for your questions.
