Designed to conquer slightly different terrain than the Trepador Bias, the Creepy Crawler also features a conformable bias ply casing to maximize the contact patch on uneven off-road terrain. The unique pattern and sidewall design excels on mud and rocky terrain. Features & Benefits include the following: Special construction design allows the tire to conform to different terrain surfaces for maximum rock-crawling performance. Stone ejectors provide protection against tread cap damage from sharp rocks. Unique multi-edged knob design and sipe arrangement enhance traction on slippery surfaces. Large shoulder lugs and sidewall design provide unparalleled side bite in difficult off-road terrain. DOT ? Approved. M&S All-Season rated.
Great meaty tires. Wish they were radials. They run very round as if over inflated but not the case.
Awesome in all terrain.. mud, dirt, water crossings... haven't been in sand yet. Nice ride on pavement as well... very happy with this tire.
Loved these tires, and they also had decent on road characteristics. They are SOFT, which means fantastic rock crawling, but not long living on the road. A great tire, but not a daily driven tire.
Absolutely impressive tire. Worth every penny.....
Hands down one of THE best tires for rock crawling up there with the pit bull, trepador, and bfg Krawler. Wears out quickly on the street because the rubber is so soft, so don’t buy these if you do a lot of street driving, look for a radial tire.
I have had these tires on my Grand Cherokee for about a year now and they are the best bitting tires I've had. They are a bias ply so that get flat spots every morning but after about 10 minutes they round out again.
Q: Will this work with a r15 12 rim or is 11 the max rim with .. putting them on Micky Thomson' r15 12 wheels... Answer this question
A: If you’re off roading and running low air pressure, I suggest you use an 8” or 8.5” wide rim..

A: Maxxis doesn't list this data. However, I know you can run beadlocks on these tires. I have also seen many competitive rock crawlers run these tires with no issues. Here are more specs from their site: https://www.maxxis.com/catalog/tire-5-105-creepy-crawler-m8090#

Q: I have a few questions regarding this tire in this size: 1) How well do these tires balance usually? Do they typically take a massive amount of weight? 2) What kind of mileage can expected out of these tires, for instance if they were to be highway only use? 3) I see these are a bias tire instead of radial. Coming from a BFG A/T, what kind of road manners and ride comfortability differences should I expect with these tires? Thank you for your time and help. Answer this question
A: Hello Dave, 1) Being a bias tire they will require additional weights to balance. 2) Maxxis does not offer a mileage rating with this tire. 3) They tend to add additional away to the vehicle, being they are a softer sidewall.
