Very efficient, it's better than buying a new filter. The only thing that you should care about is the amount of oil you'll put on the filter. If you use your car a lot of time on dirt, then you should put a good amount. Wait to the filter to dry of it's own. Dont wash it with pressure water. I clean my k&n filter about every 5,000 - 8,000 miles because I use my car on dirt many times and it gets dirty quickly. Dont waste your time and money buying and changing filters, just clean it when it needs to.

Keeps my K&N air filters performing at their best. Easy to use and easy to clean up after. I put a lot of miles on my vehicles and I only use K&N airfilters and their cleaning kits to get the most miles out of each filter.

My filter was getting dirty and wanted to restore to origanl condition. When I bought the KN filter it said guarnteed for million miles, But like anything you must take care of it to get there. That's why spending the [$] for the kit is well worth the upkeep. Plus it lets me tinker with my Jeep.

Its a good product, I haven´t tested others yet but i can´t imaggine a difference.
