King OEM performance kit custom tuned to provide your Jeep with unparalleled levels of performance and ride quality. Each kit has been subjected to punishing real world testing to develop the optimal damping curve and spring rate for your vehicle. Easy bolt-on installation for stock height or custom kits for trucks running lifted aftermarket suspensions.
Provides superior dampening over bumps compared to the stock spring and a Bilstein 5100 shock. Drastically reduced body roll in f150 with 4 inch spindle lift, 3 inch body lift and 35 inch tires. The performance of the coilover is second to none. Knocked off one star due to the soft allen bolt on the adjustable coilnut. After install the truck sat very nose down so I had to compress the spring 6 turns (not quite 1 inch for my vehicle). During the adjustment the allen bolt was nearly stripped and eventually took me hammering the allen drive into place to get it to bite. If further adjustment is needed down the road it may not be possible without replacing said bolt. Other than, that the coilovers exceeded performance expectations. FYI, during install the sway bar will need to be disconnected which the instructions from king did not specify; the Bilstein 5100 may have caused that issue though. Having an extra jack to support LCA and assist in reinstall would be helpful but not necessary.
Sweet ride and made my truck corner better and no more Famous Super Duty death wobble. Way better than Fox ride. Feels like a completely different truck.Body roll is gone as well.

Q: Hello, I'm interested in the king shock system front and rear for my 2013 nissan frontier 4x4, but I'm not sure if the description of the product will get me where I need to go. My question is, will I get a lift from just in stalling the king system without installing a separate lift kit? The product descriptions states that the king system will add 2-3inches front and rear but i wasn't clear on weather I would be lifted without installing a separate lift kit. Thanks for the assistance, Brian Answer this question

Q: I have 2012 Tundra cremax, with the Pro-Comp front and Bilstien rears. Will this A) provide a higher ride with more travel? So that I can do amateur pre-running. B)Would it be smart to add wheel spacers on front? Answer this question
A: James- Thank you for your question. The King Shocks OEM Performance Coilover Shock Kit for 0"-3.5" Lift Kits will provide a taller ride height and will help with the go fast. It will not provide more travel as it is limited by control arms, ball joints and bump stops. I do not recommend wheel spacers, especialy if you will be driving this truck hard and fast off road. If you are interested in a serious go fast kit for your tundra, i would recommend the Pro comp Tundra Long travel kit that is set to come out next year. It was unveiled at SEMA.

Q: Hi, is it easy to adjust the height? Will I need a special tool? Is it better to adjust them on the truck or before the install? Thanks. Answer this question
A: Z06 Brothers- Thank you for your question. The King Shocks OEM Performance Series Front Coilovers does require a spanner wrench to adjust. I would recommend mounting them first and then adjusting them. The adjustment is made by spinning the upper spring retainer nut up or down depending on the ride height desired.

Q: Howdy! I have a 2014 GMC SIERRA 1500 SLT CREW CAB 4X4 5.3L, and my questions pertains to factory-like ride quality! I currently have a 3.5" front, 2" rear leveling kit, with 3" body lift, 22" rims fitted with 35" Toyo's installed, while still using my factory shocks & suspension, which I must say rides fantastic! But just like everybody, i'm always looking for BETTER! My question is as follows: can it be said that going with your King OEM kit, my ride plushness will stay exactly the same, or will it make it stiffer, or even more plush than I currently have? I know a lot of us, that have put aftermarket shocks on in the past on other vehicles have found that the ride quality takes a significant turn towards the firm/hard side for daily street driving! That's why we would all like to know, are these shocks going to give us a better (cushy) ride for daily driving?? I'm not jumping truck 35ft. across ravines, just a shock that will make my daily driving the most beautiful experience!! Answer this question
A: Jus, The King Shocks OEM Performance Coilover Shock Kit for 0"-3.5" Lift Kits will only make your truck ride better, especially if you do any off-roading. This is one of the best upgrades you can do to your truck by far. Hope this helps!

Q: I have a 2012 ford flex limited w\ecoboost engine and no one lifts the 'pig'! I'm thinking this kit doesn't either... Any help would be appriciated, Just looking to do something different, thanks! Answer this question
A: Hello there, the King Shocks OEM Performance Coilover Shock Kit for 0"-3.5" Lift Kit part number KST25001-222 will give you that 0"-3.5" lift. A coilover shock incorporates a coil spring mounted around the outside of the shock body that holds the vehicles weight. A single coilover on each wheel will hold the vehicle up and provide damping. You can also run a coilover shock as a coil carrier when used with a bypass shock. When used as a coil carrier the coilover has no valving inside it only suspends the trucks weight while the bypass shock does the damping.
