    Q: Will these melt while the lights are on? the plastic stone guards that came with it did!! Answer this question

    A: Hello Russ and thank you for the inquiry on the KC HiLites 6 Inch Plastic Light Cover. The plastic stone guards are meant to be used as covers to prevent damage to the light when not in operation. The covers will need to be removed if you are going to use the light.
